The Pink Stamper: My Pink Stamper Design Team 2011 - Challenge & Submission

I've been looking for some guidance for 2011 and perusing Facebook I spotted this great challenge by the wonderful Robyn from My Pink Stamper - it's it funny where the answers come from. I would LOVE to be on Robyn's design team and with such a stunning summers day here I chose a summer look. I also thought I would do a bag rather than a card as something different.

If you would like to enter here is the challenge brief;

Make a card, scrapbook page, or other Cricut project with your favorite cartridge using Robyn's favorite colors......Pink,Green,Brown,(other optional color of your choice)

Additional entry information is on www.mypinkstamper.com

Here is the recipe
Paper: Making Memories Vine Flutter
Bag: 4 1/4" Gift Bag from the Cricut Bags, Tags & More cartridge
Tag: 1 1/4" tag & shadow from cartridge above

When things like this happen it makes my heart sing!

Dragonfly Card & matching gift Flower

The card is just from a craft store pack and I have adhered the image from a glitter card pad. I cut a tag for the card to add an extra dimension and co-ordinated it with the thin ribbon to tie it all together.

This flower is a nice alternative to a bow for gifts. Flower shapes were cut from the Forever Young Cricut cartridge. I adhered the tied button using gem glue to ensure it wouldn't come off.

Cute Christmas Bag

On the first day of December I thought I would post this super cute bag.

Of course made with the Bags, Tags & More Cricut cartridge and then I just added a couple of elements to the tags and tied them to the bag with ribbon. Super easy and effective.

Mini Goodie Bags

I just LOVE my Bags, Tags & More Cricut cartridge. Here are two more super cute mini goodie bags.

The bag and tags are from the B, T & More cartridge and the Fleur De Lis cut out is from the Don Juan cartridge. I love the subtley of the colours, lovely soft blue with the white - the blue is from My Minds Eye glitter pad - the glitter is subtle and adds a new element to the tag.

This bag was made with the same items as the bag above. I'm loving the Fleur De Lis image.

I think I need to only take photos during the day with the lovely clear light. I might redo these tomoro, the photos don't do them justice.

Christmas Bags

Here are a couple of bags I have made as Christmas presents

This one I've filled with some Lemoncello chocolates. I modified the template from the earlier bags I made.

This bag and the two tags were created using the Circut Bags, Tags & More cartridge. I used the Don Juan cartridge to cut the 25. I put a soy candle into a cello bag and tied it with co-ordinating ribbon.

My Christmas theme this year is Purple [just in case you hadn't guessed] I will be posting a pic of the tree once I am happy with it.

Love Banner

This is my first attempt at a banner and was created using the Cricut Home Accents cartridge for the square backs and the Don Juan cartridge for the letters.

I think it looks cute - will try another one tomorrow with some more colour in it.

Please feel free to leave a comment.

Christmas Baubles

Contemporary Christmas Bauble

I love this colour combination. Chocolate and Pink are just so yummy.

Super easy to make - I got the glass baubles, ribbon & card etc from a craft store and the pebbles from the supermarket.

I'd recommend buying three of the large bags of pebbles (smarties) to fill the bauble to just under half.

There are 8 colours so you could do lots of different colour combinations.

Super Cute Christmas Bauble

I think the ribbon is just the cutest and this one is for my son for Christmas.

Paying full price for each item & using pebbles the cost is about $4- $4.50 (Cadbury Pebbles from the supermarket 140gms $2.96)

Change that and use jelly beans the cost reduces down to $2.50-$3 (Home Brand jelly beans 500gms $3.06)

I'll be using the jelly beans to make these for my sons classmates. After they eat the candy they can decorate the bauble for themselves
